Matruvani — Voice of the Mother — is the flagship publication of the Mata Amritanandamayi Math.

Here is an example of Matruvani issue — https://matruvani.org/en/digital-edition/january2018

First published in 1984 on the auspicious occasion of Amma’s Birthday with the aim of disseminating Amma’s teachings to devotees, the magazine today is read by hundreds of thousands over the world.

The subscription base has grown to encompass people living in all continents on the planet, reflecting the growing esteem and reverence in which Amma is globally held today.

The secret to the magazine’s growing global appeal is none other than Amma Herself. The very embodiment of selfless love and compassion, Her teachings are as simple as they are sacred, as deep as they are universal, and as relevant as they are timeless.

Matruvani reverentially enshrines these teachings, and the note of devotion is sounded in each of the experiences, reminiscences and essays that fill the pages of the magazine. Each issue also includes reports and updates on the tours that Amma undertakes all over the world as well as updates on the Math’s vast network of charitable and humanitarian initiatives.

Currently, Matruvani is published in 17 languages, including 9 Indian languages (Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali and Odiya) and English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Finnish, Greek and Japanese.

As the chronicle of a divine mission over the past three decades, the magazine’s contemporary and future worth is inestimable. We present here some of the past issues of Matruvani. May the divine voice uplift you.
